Sally Becker became known as the ‘Angel of Mostar’ whilst evacuating injured children in Bosnia in 1993. Amidst the carnage and the chaos of war, she has risked her life to rescue sick and injured children from besieged hospitals in numerous conflicts and is credited with saving hundreds of lives.
